I just posted my day trip to the Sunshine Coast which I copied into here as well.

Yesterday my sister and I took a motorbike ride to the Sunshine Coast. Missed the 1st ferry so we had 2 yours to spend in Horseshoe Bay.

We had a breakfast and a walk in the town, then hopped on the bike and learned how to park the motorbike properly on the ferry.

First one in line for the next ferryThen we enjoyed the 40 minute ride to Langdale. I showed my sister all the islands along the way. I still remembered most of them…

When we got off the ferry, we rode straight to Gibsons taking the bypass, a fast almost highway-like rode which wasn’t pretty but quick.

It’s been two years since my last visit. It was strange driving through the streets of a town where once I lived 6 years.
Got flashbacks while I was showing her the houses I owned and homes I rented before, the places my kids grew up, their schools, playgrounds.

We’ve visited a friend, then met some more while cruising and walking through the town of Gibsons. Noticed a few changes here and there.

Had a nice dinner at the Bayview Restaurant. It was very cheep though the portion was so huge that my sister couldn’t finish hers. More »

Today, on Twitter, I decided to share my story of my search engine business. I don’t want to waste the story so I decided to just copy and paste it in here for the record… Each line had to be less than 140 characters short, so it looks kind of wierd, but I think if you really want to, you can read it. Some of you reading this might actually learn a few things about my search engine business experiences. So here it is. Enjoy. More »

I know that a bunch of other blogs were posting collections of Twitter like sites, however most of them I found (ranking on the top of the Google SERPs when searching for that kind of stuff) were outdated, so let me include a most recent list here for if not yours then my easy reference.

  • Twitter (Well yeah, twitter is the most twitter like service out there)
  • Plurk (Displays status updates on a cool scrollable timeline allowing smiley faces etc.)
  • Tumblr (Kind of like Twitter in WordPress style, highly customizable and with dofollow links :) but on subdomains :( )
  • Rejaw (Just like Twitter but shouting: nofollows with users in directories, except faster possibly due to must lower number of users)
  • Kwippy (Almost exactly like Twitter: just as slow and people are following each other – with threaded comments!)

If you feel like adding more relevant sites to this list, please send it to me in a comment.
