SEO Friendly Web Hosting

When you search on Google for SEO Friendly Web Hosting you get mostly web hosting service providers offering their SEO Web Hosting services which mostly concentrates on using separate C-Class IP addresses for their clients’ web sites. Some of these hosting companies are ranking pretty well with their well-picked domains names, such as SEOWebHosting.net “…up to 60 Class C subnets available…” and seohosting.com “…assign each account it’s own different Class C IP address…”

Another key feature these hosting companies offer is the use of a range of DNS servers as well as allowing their customers to create their own private DNS servers.

Of course you can find hosting companies on directories and read reviews about them on sites like the web hosting index.

Let’s chat about the importance of chosing the right hosting company for maintaining good SEO on your sites. One of the reasons you should be picky about chosing a hosting company for your site is to make sure that your site is not going to be hosted on a shared IP address that hosts tens of even hundreds of thousands of sites because there is good chance that some shady “bad neighbourhood” sites will be included in the mix as well and some search engines may think that your site is associated with them. Search engines are getting smarter so I don’t see this much of an issue.

The next thing is the often mentioned c-class IP issue. Some smarter search engines check the IP address of the sites linking to your site and if they find a lot of sites on IP addresses from the same c-class linking in, they may think that you are trying to spam them by planting links in the pages of your other sites to boost link popularity of your new site.

In a sence SEO Friendly Web Hosting allows webmasters and SEO’s to play black hat tricks on search engines, by hosting tens or hundreds of sites on with a single hosting company for the reason of building links to their main web sites, which is a big no-no and could cost you getting your domain banned in search engines like Google.
